## Description

We are seeking a Developer Advocacy Team Lead to oversee the Developer Advocacy team within a major organisational area. You will plan, lead, and coordinate developer community events, evaluate emerging technology trends, and establish strategic relationships with external developer communities.

Responsibilities:

- Assume responsibility for the Developer Advocacy team within a major organisational area

- Plan, lead, and coordinate developer community events in collaboration with key stakeholders

- Continuously evaluate emerging technology trends, tools, and industry best practices in Developer Advocacy

- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with external developer communities and third-party organisations

- Perform all responsibilities of a Developer Advocate to an exceptional standard

- Commission and conduct research within the developer community

- Establish and strengthen effective partnerships across Product, Development, and business-focused Operations teams

- Collaborate with software development teams to understand requirements and provide guidance on SDLC best practices

Qualifications & Experience:

- Demonstrated ability to oversee products and initiatives that contribute to the continuous improvement of LSEG services

- Proven leadership capability, including mentoring teams and leading by example

- Strong understanding of technology strategy, engineering culture, and organisational objectives

- Experience implementing and continuously improving delivery processes, standards, and industry best practices

- Strong knowledge of technology platforms and developer communities

- Proven ability to manage project timelines and consistently achieve delivery objectives

- Significant experience in stakeholder management across Technology, Sales, Product, and related business functions

- Degree or equivalent qualification and/or relevant professional certification
