## Description

As a Senior Activities Coordinator at Sunnyview House Care Home in Leeds, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents through engaging activities and events.

The care home is dedicated to providing person-centred care, supporting independence, and promoting choice to help residents live their best lives. Bupa's mission is to make health happen by being brave, caring, and responsible in everything they do.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Organize and lead morning and afternoon activity sessions tailored to residents' interests, such as musical acts, outings, exercise classes, and arts and crafts.

- Develop and update activity plans within a set budget.

- Encourage resident participation in activities and events.

- Coordinate birthday celebrations and special occasions for residents.

- Arrange logistics for activities, events, and outings, including liaising with external performers and companies.

- Assist with daily duties like breakfast, lunch, and dinner services when needed.

- Provide one-on-one interactions with residents, using tools like reminiscence aids, puzzles, and conversation.

- Maintain records, care plans, and activity notes, as well as manage emails.

- Support the home's social media presence as required.

- Ability to manage budgets and maintain paperwork.
