## Description

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the team at Holy Trinity C of E Junior School in London Borough of Sutton. The successful candidate will work with children who have Educational Health Care Plans to help them meet their targets.

The Learning Support Assistant will work under the direction of the class teacher and must be flexible, creative, resilient, and a team player. Knowledge of ASD or trauma would be beneficial, but training will be provided.

Key requirements:

- Enthusiasm and determination to make a difference to pupil progress and behavior

- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative

- Good English, Maths, and IT skills

- High expectations of themselves and the children they work with, promoting independence where possible

- Ability to work with parents

This is a pupil-specific fixed-term role linked to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) funding, until 31st August 2027. The position may terminate earlier if the pupil leaves the school or EHCP funding ceases.
