## Description

We are seeking an Automation Manager to lead our automation team and ensure the development and maintenance of engineering and validation requirements for automated systems and industrial controls.

**Job Summary:** As an Automation Manager at GSK, you will be responsible for managing all activities within your department, including personnel management, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement automation strategies for site systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with quality management systems and regulations

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of up to 15 engineers and technicians

- Manage budgets, resources, and competencies for operational and project activities

- Ensure network security, reliability, and safety of industrial control systems and automation infrastructure

- Lead projects, including design, validation, and implementation of automated systems

- Develop and implement obsolescence management strategies for automated systems

- Provide third-line support for operations and maintenance of automated systems

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Chemical Engineering

- 5-10 years of experience as a manager in automation, industrial controls, IT, or engineering

- Proven leadership and team management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English

- Ability to analyze risks and make informed decisions

- Experience with GMP, ISO, and other regulatory requirements
