## Description

We are seeking a Chief of Staff to join our AI Experiences team, specifically within the Copilot Engineering organisation. As a trusted strategic advisor and operational leader, you will partner closely with the CVP of Engineering and the leadership team to drive organisational effectiveness, business rigour, and execution excellence. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, business operations, and leadership effectiveness, translating priorities into scalable operating mechanisms, governance models, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with Copilot Engineering leaders to drive strategic planning, execution, and alignment.

- Translate team priorities into the operating cadence of the team, including planning, business reviews, people rhythms, communications, and follow-through.

- Lead and manage business rhythms such as leadership meetings, all-hands, and planning cycles.

- Drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely execution of key priorities.

- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to leadership, enabling clarity and focus.

- Manage communications and change management across the organisation.

- Drive organisational health efforts, including talent planning, team health, leadership team effectiveness, outcome-focused engineering improvements, culture, morale, and communications.

- Coordinate with finance, Human Resources, and other support functions to ensure operational efficiency, including headcount management and communication to hiring managers.

- Lead special projects and initiatives that span engineering and product teams.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) and 8+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles.

- Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant field and 12+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience.

- Proven experience in Chief of Staff, program management, or strategic operations roles within technical or product organisations.

- Understanding of engineering and product development processes.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready synthesis and narrative building.

- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders, including executive leaders.

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment.

- Experience with strategic planning, business operations, and executive communications.

- Passion for technology, innovation, and building inclusive teams.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 – $277,200 per year.
