## Description

We are seeking a Production Equipment Senior Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Company. As a Production Equipment Senior Engineer, you will work as part of a multi-discipline team to introduce and implement equipment required for new model introduction into Honda facilities.

Responsibilities include:

- Developing optimal machine concepts for process characteristic changes using fundamentally sound engineering principles

- Providing technical support for equipment/process and supporting the Project Leadership function

- Collaborating with external functions, such as external suppliers or plant resources

- Acting as a direct project leader for small to mid-sized business plan projects

- Performing detailed process studies of new model car parts to understand machine capability

- Creating specification/scope of work documentation to summarize change points and establish criteria

- Providing online support during the installation phase of projects

- Creating and maintaining a critical path schedule to maintain overall project milestones

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

- Knowledge of 3D CAD systems and software

- Background in automated equipment development

- Excellent technical communication skills (written and oral)
