## Description

Anthropic is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to serve as a dedicated communications partner to its go-to-market (GTM) organization.

The Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for owning the internal communications strategy for their portfolio within GTM, becoming an expert in the team's work, and a trusted member of its leadership support team.

Responsibilities:

- Own the internal communications strategy for your portfolio within GTM

- Serve as an advisor to the Chief Commercial Officer and their team

- People manage a small team (one/two directs), supporting the global GTM org

- Translate complex sales strategy and customer stories into narratives that land with employees across every function

- Anticipate communications needs before they arrive

- Design and implement strategies to boost signal and reduce noise

- Plan and execute internal fora like all-hands and AMAs with operational excellence

- Partner closely with the broader internal communications team

Requirements:

- 12+ years of experience in communications or an adjacent craft

- Exceptional writing skills, with a talent for distilling complex concepts into plain English

- Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders

- Ability to see the big picture and connect individual team updates to company strategy and mission

- Keen eye for organizational culture

Strong candidates may also:

- Have worked at AI companies, frontier tech companies, or other organizations where the work moves faster than most people can follow

- Have built or run internal communications programs during periods of rapid organizational growth

The annual compensation range for this role is $295,000-$345,000 USD.

Logistics:

- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience

- Required field of study: A field relevant to the role

- Minimum years of experience: Correlate with internal job level requirements

- Location-based hybrid policy: Expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time
