## Description

We are seeking an experienced instructor to join our Dean of Students' Office team at HKUST. You will report to the Head of Sports Development and play a key role in providing instruction and administrative support for sports and physical education services to students.

Key responsibilities include:

- Planning and delivering fitness, sports skills, personal enrichment, and wellness classes for students

- Leading a small team to design and develop student development programs, including sports, personal enrichment, and wellness events

- Advising student clubs on sports participation and serving as a coach for sports teams

- Providing professional assistance to elite student athletes and assisting with sports facilities management

The ideal candidate will have:

- A recognised degree in physical education, sports, or a related field, preferably with a higher degree

- At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in teaching, coaching, or organising sports activities in a university or education setting

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua

- A positive attitude, ability to work independently, and a keen interest in working with students

The appointment is for 2 years, renewable. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include annual leave, medical and dental coverage, and a gratuity upon successful completion of the contract.
