- Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of production systems, partnering with others for scaling and redundancy.

- Translate operational and technical requirements into system designs, balancing immediate delivery with long-term platform health.

- Develop automation, tools, and workflows that minimise manual effort and ensure safe, repeatable changes.

- Document technical designs, architectural decisions, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and reliable operations.

**Qualifications:**

- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with production ownership.

- Expertise designing and operating distributed/cloud systems.

- Proficiency in Java.

- Experience with containerized/service-based platforms and production workloads.

- Experienced with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including EKS, EC2, S3.

- Experience in CI/CD and infrastructure automation.

**Bonus:**

- Infrastructure experience for live-service or real-time workloads.

- Work with data-intensive or high-throughput systems.

- Applied AI-assisted or LLM-based engineering workflows.
