## Description

LSEG is seeking a Director – Business Management (Chief of Staff – CoS) to serve as a strategic adviser and execution partner to the India Country Head. The successful candidate will have 15-20 years of experience, including hands-on delivery and client management, with at least 6-7 years in a Chief of Staff, Business Management or COO capacity.

The role requires critical thinking to turn insights into actionable recommendations, strengthen governance, and anticipate risks and dependencies. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing concise executive briefings, decision papers, presentations, and leadership communications.

Key responsibilities include:

- Advising the Country Head on India and enterprise priorities with independent insight, constructive challenge, and recommendations

- Focusing the leadership agenda on highest-impact priorities

- Anticipating issues, sensitivities, and barriers; recommending timely, discreet action

- Aligning businesses and functions on India priorities, opportunities, and dependencies

- Translating enterprise priorities into India action and India perspectives into global decisions

- Delivering Country Head-sponsored initiatives with clear outcomes, owners, milestones, and executive escalation

The role also involves financial planning and workforce strategy, executive engagement and stakeholder alignment, governance and delivery discipline, and executive communications.
