## Description

WSP is currently seeking a Full-Time Construction Inspector for our Antioch, California office. The following locations will also be considered: San Francisco and San Jose. As a Construction Inspector, you will be involved in projects with our PMCM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Reading and interpreting project plans and specifications

- Monitoring construction for compliance with project documents

- Measuring, calculating, and documenting quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures

- Inspecting road and bridge construction based on Caltrans Standards

- Reviewing, inspecting, and approving traffic control systems, including lane closures, in accordance with Caltrans’ standards and requirements

- Exercising responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A High School Diploma

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-education experience in a discipline with prior construction inspection experience

- A valid state driver’s license

- High familiarity with construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, processes, methods, and techniques

- High familiarity with relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements

- Sound interpersonal and communication skills

- Sound self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment

The expected salary range for this position is $65/hr - $85/hr, depending on experience level, location, and other qualifications.
