## Description

WSP India is seeking a Principal BIM Technician to join our Bridges Department in Mumbai/Noida. As Principal BIM Technician - Bridges, you will play a crucial role in our design and development process, working closely with engineers and the BIM team to create detailed technical drawings and plans for bridge projects.

Responsibilities:

- Lead project setup by agreeing on drawing strategy, type and size of drawings, and drawing numbering with the project engineer

- Manage production of work, review and ensure it is carried out to specified WSP I CAD standards

- Use templates for CAD/BIM work and CAD/BIM library items to assist design work

- Coordinate engineering services on projects to ensure correct inputs are received timely and outputs are issued after full review

- Ensure work produced by the team is to specified WSP CAD/BIM standards

- Review engineer's sketches and other design team member drawings and details

- Maintain regular dialogue with Project Engineer and Canada client Team

- Plan and prepare standard details for repetitive or small/routine work

- Proactively support the WSP India CAD/BIM forums

Qualifications:

- Diploma in CAD with at least 14 years of relevant experience

- Experience of having worked in a similar role

- Competence in AutoCAD/Revit/SofiSTIK BIM/Microstation/RCD/CIVIL 3D
