## Description

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Ardenlea Court Care Home in Solihull. The successful candidate will be working bank hours, with a salary ranging from £12.75 to £13.75 per hour depending on experience.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the chefs and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:

- Acting as the link between the main kitchen and residents

- Assisting chefs with meal preparation and plating

- Monitoring stock rotation and adhering to company policies and procedures

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area

- Assisting with catering for special events

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a passion for food, previous experience working in a kitchen, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You should be able to communicate effectively with others and be comfortable working in a team environment.
