## Description

WSP is seeking a full-time Building Technology Systems – Lead Consultant – Structured Cabling for their Chicago office.

The successful candidate will provide design and coordination for Structured Cabling systems, collaborate with clients and design team members, and manage project financials and resources.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing and coordinating Structured Cabling systems

- Collaborating with clients and design team members

- Coordinating integration of other technology and building systems

- Creating design narratives and construction documents

- Managing project financials and resources

- Marketing capabilities and developing client relationships

- Leading a team of consultants

- Mentoring and developing junior staff

Requirements:

- Four-year degree (B.S. in engineering preferred) or equivalent combination of technical degree and related work experience

- Seven plus years' experience designing complex structured cabling systems

- RCDD Industry certification preferred

- Knowledge of structured cabling design principles and coordination requirements

- Familiarity with Revit and Microsoft Office software

- Understanding of local and national codes and industry standards

- Proven ability to market services, win work, and manage a team

- Comfortable in a client-facing role

- U.S. Security clearance or ability to obtain one

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
