## Description

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness, Scotland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the shopping centre, working as part of a supportive team to deliver both planned and reactive cleaning services.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the shopping centre

- Cleaning and sanitising lifts, floors, washrooms, and staff facilities

- Emptying waste bins and managing waste disposal

- Setting up, maintaining, and safely storing cleaning equipment and materials

- Monitoring assigned areas and proactively addressing cleaning requirements

- Responding promptly to spillages and other reactive cleaning tasks

- Supporting Team Leaders and Supervisors to ensure service excellence is consistently delivered

- Completing all required training and complying with Health & Safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential

- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively

- A positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude

- Reliable, punctual, and flexible in approach to work

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
