## Description

We are seeking a Building Structure Technician to join our team in Chicoutimi, QC, Canada.

As a technician, you will play a key role in producing building structure plans and technical coordination, contributing directly to the quality and success of large-scale projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Producing technical drawings and building structure plans using specialized software

- Participating in 2D and 3D modeling (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent)

- Supporting engineers in design and preparation of technical deliverables

- Verifying and validating plan compliance with applicable standards and requirements

- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of different systems

- Contributing to technical coordination with internal and external stakeholders

- Participating in site surveys and updating plans according to project progress

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering, architecture technology, or a related field

- Relevant experience in building structures (typically 3-5 years at this level)

- Proficiency in drawing and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit)

- Good understanding of structural design principles

- Knowledge of applicable standards and codes (CNB, CSA, etc.)

- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Experience in interdisciplinary coordination (an asset)
