## Description

As an Assistant Stateroom Steward at Hollandamericagroup, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest stateroom service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Housekeeping team in providing top-notch guest stateroom service

- Clean and supply assigned staterooms according to Housekeeping procedures and standards

- Provide morning and evening services, including turndown service

- Maintain cleanliness of staterooms and balconies

- Distribute guest amenities and handle laundry and dry cleaning services

- Interact with guests and handle requests and complaints

- Assist with embarking guest luggage and stateroom orientation

- Maintain corridors, steward station, and other areas within the assigned section

- Provide on-the-job training to Assistant Stateroom Stewards

- Administer required paperwork and comply with House Rules, Safety Regulations, and Environmental Guidelines

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

- High School Education

- 2+ years of experience as Stateroom Steward or equivalent in the hospitality industry

- 1+ year of shipboard experience as Stateroom Attendant or equivalent (preferred)

- Physically able to carry at least 40 lbs.

- Effective communication and multi-tasking skills

- Basic knowledge of public health and sanitation protocols
