## About the role

We're looking for a Team Lead to oversee our People Associates in Budapest and Timișoara. You'll manage day-to-day HR operations, drive service quality, and help scale our Tier 1 HR function as Wolt expands globally.

## Responsibilities

### Team leadership

- Lead and mentor a team of approximately 10 People Associates.

- Set goals, monitor performance, and conduct regular evaluations.

- Ensure the team adheres to company policies and procedures.

### HR service delivery

- Oversee the handling of HR inquiries from employees across multiple countries.

- Act as the first escalation point for complex issues and ensure timely resolution.

### Knowledge transfer & launches

- Collaborate with Tier 2 HR and the business to transition processes into Tier 1.

- Own process documentation and knowledge transfer milestones.

- Ensure coverage is in place for all country deliverables.

### Operational excellence

- Improve HR processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.

- Drive adoption of manager and employee self-service tools.

- Support Workday onboarding and data accuracy.

- Collaborate with Payroll to ensure timely, accurate salary payments.

### Team development & continuous improvement

- Create development opportunities that grow the team's skills.

- Identify process gaps and implement improvements based on team and employee feedback.

## Requirements

- Based in Hungary, able to work from the Budapest office 3+ days/week.

- Curiosity about AI and automation in HR service delivery, with a track record of using new tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Fluent English (written and spoken).

- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

- Proven people management experience with a focus on team development.

- Background in employee lifecycle processes and HR service delivery.

- Familiarity with HR metrics and ERP systems; Workday experience is a plus.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
