## Description

We are seeking a Process Generalist to support and enable onsite process operations at our Grinnell, Iowa facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining quality and production standards, supporting the safe and timely delivery of quality supply, and performing duties in a manner that supports overall site key metrics.

Key responsibilities include:

- Setting and maintaining quality and production standards

- Supporting the safe and timely delivery of quality supply based on production schedules

- Performing duties in a manner that supports overall site key metrics, including Safety, Quality, TIP, TOP, and cost efficiency

- Maintaining a strong relationship with onsite units and squads

- Functioning as a conduit with other sites and off-site support personnel to anticipate and resolve production challenges

- Adapting quickly to changes in business and courageously facing new challenges and opportunities

- Ensuring the highest level of quality, compliance, and safety achieved in all activities

- Providing timely technical support where needed to ensure the best customer experience possible

- Mentoring less experienced production technicians and coaching employees across the site on basic operations and quality standards

- Supporting areas by championing Lean Manufacturing principles

- Initiating periodic communication with Planning, Forecasting, and Operations to ensure alignment across all production teams

- Supporting the development and sharing of key performance indicators and other relevant information

- Driving a company vehicle, which may include being required to drive greater than 5,000 business miles annually

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

- A High School Diploma or GED

- Prior experience in manufacturing operations, technical support, or safety

- A valid Driver's license and eligibility to drive a company car or pooled vehicle

- Ability to follow policies and procedures

- Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.

- Ability to work weekends and overtime during peak seasons

Preferred qualifications include:

- A Bachelor's degree in a preferred discipline such as Business, Engineering, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing with 4 years of relevant experience

- 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, technical support, or safety with a High School Diploma

- Experience in lean manufacturing systems

- Demonstration of courage, candor, and initiative in past assignments

- Knowledge in seed production and seed quality standards

In return for your hard work, you can expect to be paid a salary between $83,280.00 and $124,920.00, plus additional compensation such as a bonus or commission. We also offer a range of benefits, including healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
