## Description

Join 3M's Commercial Solutions segment as an Application Engineer. You will work with the Commercial Branding and Transportation Division to deliver comprehensive products and solutions for brand owners, channel partners, and end customers.

The role involves understanding 3M's offerings and using that knowledge to help achieve objectives for the division. You will meet with brand owners, channel partners, and end customers to guide them with the right product and generate specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading technical engagement with key customers and channel partners

- Understanding market trends and collaborating with internal teams to work on new product ideas, technology, and product development

- Traveling domestically and working at customer locations and sites

- Having a positive attitude and willingness to learn, being a team player, and working in collaboration with 3M employees and channel partners

To qualify, you should have a graduate or postgraduate degree in Polymer science, Chemistry, or Materials Science with:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Knowledge of self-adhesive films, polymer chemistry, and formulations

- Product development and lab testing skills, with experience in new product commercialization processes

- Strong planning and organization skills

- Ability to understand technical subject matter or willingness to learn

- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related software programs
