## Description

Partner with Priory as a Sessional Therapist – CAMHS CBT at our Wellbeing Centre in Canterbury. This self-employed, sessional role offers flexibility around the centre's needs and your availability. You will deliver one-to-one therapy, supporting clients to achieve their treatment goals, either face-to-face in our modern clinical environment or online.

## Key Responsibilities

At Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury, you'll be part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care. You will play a key role in patients' recovery, contributing to assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic delivery, while working within strong clinical governance frameworks.

## What we offer:

- Steady patient flow – referrals are provided, allowing you to focus on delivering therapy rather than marketing your services.

- Credibility and trust – work alongside a nationally recognised provider of mental healthcare.

- Clinical and administrative support – access to clinical space, billing and administrative support.

- Flexibility – choose working patterns that complement your existing professional commitments and our service needs.

- Team connection – benefit from the independence of self-employment while remaining connected to and supported by an experienced multidisciplinary clinical team.

## Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

We are looking for an experienced therapist able to deliver Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and provide high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients. You will:

- Hold full BABCP accreditation or an equivalent relevant professional accreditation appropriate to the role.

- Have a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience and minimum of 2 years working with Children and Young People.

- Demonstrate strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills.

- Be confident working within clinical governance frameworks, including the use of digital systems, maintaining clear and concise clinical notes, and attending relevant risk management meetings.

## Benefits

Partnering with Priory can remove much of the burden of starting or expanding your private practice while allowing you to maintain your professional independence as a self-employed practitioner. In return, you will receive:

- Competitive sessional rates with access to an established patient referral pathway.

- Autonomy – manage your own caseload while working within Priory's clinical governance framework.

- Flexible working opportunities – opportunities to work during the day or evenings and offer a blend of remote and face-to-face sessions.

- Minimum capacity – you will be expected to offer a minimum capacity of five sessions per week, with the opportunity to increase this in line with service demand.

- Background checks – DBS and relevant regulatory checks are covered by Priory.
