## Description

At Bayer, we're seeking a Primary Care Sales Consultant to join our team in Des Moines, IA. As a Primary Care Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing sales strategies for an approved Cardiorenal product and driving launch activities for an anticipated launch for menopause.

Your primary responsibilities will include building and developing professional relationships with primary care physicians, driving appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products, and leveraging expertise and knowledge of diabetes and menopause marketplace.

You will also provide relevant, thoughtful input to other commercial colleagues in regard to strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region, and develop and implement effective customer-specific business plans.

Occasionally, you will be called on to share your exemplary skills with others in the region in a training capacity, and leverage and embrace emerging technologies to enhance performance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and the ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements.

Additional qualifications include an advanced degree, 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, in-depth knowledge in the cardiovascular and/or diabetes and/or menopause disease states, product launch experience, strong analytical and computer capabilities, virtual sales experience, and strong local relationships with HCPs and understanding of local market.

This role is eligible for an enhanced employee referral bonus, and employees can expect to be paid a salary between $120,960.00 to $181,440.00, with additional compensation including a bonus or commission (if relevant).
