## Description

We are seeking an Area Collections Manager to oversee collection performance for assigned geographies and buckets. The successful candidate will lead, coach, and develop a team of 2-5 direct reports and manage 3-6 collection agencies.

Responsibilities:

- Own collection performance for assigned geography and bucket(s)

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2-5 direct reports

- Manage 3-6 collection agencies across assigned geography

- Own resolution and recovery targets for assigned portfolio

- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, company policies, and code of conduct for collections

- Collaborate with operations, risk, legal, analytics, and agency management teams

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of relevant region/state profile of customers

- Knowledge of local agencies and demonstrated ability to drive and manage collection agencies

- Proficient in local language

- Knowledge of code of conduct for collections

- Strong understanding of collections business

- Familiar with key collections metrics
