## Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Intermediate to join our Industrial and Mining team in Chicoutimi, QC, Canada.

As a Mechanical Engineer - Intermediate, you will work on projects that transform our world. You will collaborate with brilliant minds and contribute to large-scale projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing mechanical systems such as plant layouts, piping networks, and welded assemblies;

- Calculating loads and preparing calculation notes;

- Communicating regularly with clients and project teams;

- Analyzing client needs, interpreting project scope, and structuring teams to achieve objectives;

- Verifying and producing technical quotes and documents;

- Performing other related tasks to support project delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering;

- 3-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering in the mining sector;

- A valid seal from the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;

- Experience in one or more of the following areas: consulting engineering, mining, heavy machinery, or steel fabrication;

- Strong communication and writing skills;

- Familiarity with finite element analysis software (a plus).

Salary range:

- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500

- MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200

- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
