## Description

The Utah County Sheriff's Office is seeking Deputy Sheriffs to join their team. As a Deputy Sheriff, you will perform a wide range of law enforcement duties, including patrol operations, criminal investigations, court security, emergency services, and oversight of the Utah County Correctional Facility.

**Deputy Sheriff I – Enforcement (Currently Attending POST Academy)** Starting Pay: $31.35-$36.06 (Based on experience) Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent

- Currently enrolled in a POST-approved Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) course and able to obtain certification within twelve (12) months

**Deputy Sheriff II – Enforcement (Current Utah Law Enforcement Certification with Law Enforcement Experience)** Starting Pay: $36.06-$41.42 (Based on years of law enforcement experience) Qualifications:

- One (1) year of experience as a certified Law Enforcement Officer

- Current Utah POST Law Enforcement Officer certification required
