## Description

You will head the Global Business Segment Railway at FUCHS, driving commercial strategy and growth in this area.

Key responsibilities include setting up and further developing the commercial strategy for the Global Business Segment Railway, coordinating and supporting a global matrix team of Business Development Managers, and defining segment-specific value propositions for passenger, cargo, and infrastructure applications.

You will also plan and prioritize product and service roadmaps together with Product Management, gather market intelligence, and propose global price positioning based on market knowledge and pricing insights.

In addition, you will develop and take responsibility for (global) key account customers, conduct on-site customer visits together with local sales engineers, and provide technical and commercial support.

You will strengthen collaboration with local affiliates, proactively drive information exchange, and foster cross-functional communication.

Finally, you will plan and initiate marketing activities together with Marketing and represent FUCHS at trade fairs and within associations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar field, with a strong commercial mindset and proven experience in sales or business development.

Experience in the rail/transportation industry or related sectors is highly desirable, as is knowledge of tribology and lubricants.

You should also have solid technical understanding, ideally gained in complex, application-driven environments, and be able to bridge detailed technical expertise with high-level strategic thinking.

An entrepreneurial mindset combined with hands-on mentality is essential, as is experience in (in)direct leadership and working in international matrix organizations.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across functions, cultures, and hierarchical levels, are also required.

Finally, you should be fluent in English and willing to travel internationally (approximately 30% of the time).
