## Description

As a Director of Business Development, you will expand Anduril's Services by defining strategy, forging partnerships, and winning critical work in the commercial and government sectors.

We harness the power of operating our own products to directly inform product strategy, build novel solutions for customer needs, and accelerate the deployment and evolution of our technology.

BD team members serve as the bridge between clients and the broader Anduril team; they convey client perspectives to other teams across the enterprise while also serving as the Anduril brand ambassador externally.

They partner extensively with the broader division team, to include engineering and program management, to ensure that Anduril products exceed client expectations and mission demands, and to drive continuous product improvements in response to client needs.

Key responsibilities include: Generating and capturing opportunities through significant travel, trade show coordination, and deep understanding and responsibility for representing country-specific budget cycles. Developing capture strategies, providing cohesive business plans and execution models that outline acquisition plans, create clear alignment to investment strategies, and drive towards program of record execution. Driving product development and program transition by assessing clients' needs and informing new product decisions. Growing existing business by partnering with execution teams and product engineers to expand upon current work and leverage existing partnerships to explore new areas of work or opportunities. Communicating our value to clients by projecting the company's ethos and conveying insights that illustrate our approach to building next-generation defence technology and our competitive edges in doing so.

Required qualifications include: Proven experience in business development, strategy development, or development program management. Ability to leverage unique blend of strategic acumen and deep technical expertise grounded in unique insight into appropriate markets. Ability to independently drive expansion by identifying market entry opportunities and forging strategic partnerships across commercial and government sectors. Polished technical communication style that engages stakeholders of all competency levels and a profound fluency in commercial subsea technologies and their applications. Experience independently formulating and executing a comprehensive growth strategy, activating key collaborations, and closing impactful deals. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Ability to relocate as needed. Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred qualifications include: High ownership and ability to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment. Builder who is adaptive and who can lead new and innovative approaches to market. Comfortable with working in limited resource environments. Prior experience working with technical partners/engineering teams. Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
