## Description

We are seeking a CAD Technician to join our team in Pasig City, National Capital Region (NCR), Philippines. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality drawings of Tunnel Structures, including general arrangement, sections, and tunnel support drawings. This role requires close coordination with Package Leads, Design Engineers, and CAD Manager to support the delivery of tunnel projects from WSP's Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Manila.

## Responsibilities

- Prepare tunnel structural drawings developed from basic data supplied.

- Ensure accuracy of all tunnel drafting tasks.

- Check all drawings before presenting them to the client.

- Develop, review, and verify engineering drawings.

- Create drawings from design sketches and working sheets, ensuring clarity, completeness, and accuracy.

- Promote a culture of technical excellence within the team.

- Maintain backup of drawing files – hard and soft copies for record and future references.

- Adhere to prescribed drafting standards and procedures.

- Perform cross-discipline reviews, constructability checks, and clash detection reviews.

- Carry out tasks assigned by package leads, discipline and team leads, Regional Team Executive, Australian Design Engineers, and CAD Manager.

- Participate in company development initiatives, such as the Technical Associate Program and/or PANs.

- Coach others in identifying and managing ethical issues.

- Seek information to understand client needs and effectively anticipate and meet client needs.

- Communicate clearly and confidently with counterparts in other offices.

## Qualifications

- Graduate of any technical course or at least three (3) years in BS Engineering or BS Architecture course.

- At least five (5) years of relevant tunnel structural drafting experience.

- Knowledge of relevant industry-related Australian Standards, local Road Authority Standards, and other road and civil design standards.

- High-level drafting and detailing skills.

- High-level use and understanding of CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, ACC, ProjectWise, Bluebeam, Inventor).

- Understanding of tunnel construction methodology.

- Proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit & Dynamo is an advantage.

- Experience in building client relationships and business development.

- Attention to detail.

- Ability to manage self under pressure.

- Balance innovation, quality, and technical excellence with delivery to timelines and cost.

- Open to receiving and providing constructive feedback.
