## Job Overview

The QA Engineer role involves the comprehensive delivery of manual and automated testing activities, including the creation, execution and analysis of automation scripts. You will document and monitor test results, log defects, and participate in the review and analysis of project documentation. You will work closely with the Production Support, Test Management, Solution Delivery and Business Analyst teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and agree on the approach to test execution. You will also be responsible for identifying issues and risks, addressing them appropriately and escalating them when required.

## Responsibilities

- Perform testing activities (manually and automatically).

- Ensure test status results are properly documented and tracked and defects are logged.

- Participate in the review and analysis of appropriate documentation.

- Closely cooperate with Production Support, Test Management, Solution Delivery, Business Analyst in order to understand requirements and discuss execution.

- Ensure that any issues or risks are addressed in an appropriate manner, escalating them as required.

- Create, run and analyse automated scripts.

## Requirements

- Fluency in spoken and written English.

- A university degree or equivalent higher education.

- At least three years of professional experience working in an international environment, including experience in IT systems testing (ISTQB certification as a plus).

- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

- Experience working in a bank or other financial institution, ideally with payments systems.

- Practical knowledge of SQL and SoapUI.

- Experience using test management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

- Experience with test automation tools and creating automation scripts.

- A strong interest in developing your career in an IT environment.
