As an AI Architect, you will be responsible for defining and evolving enterprise-scale blueprints for GenAI, agentic AI, and AI infrastructure platforms. ## Responsibilities - Define and evolve enterprise-scale blueprints for GenAI, agentic AI, and AI infrastructure platforms that multiple business units can adopt and extend - Architect reference implementations for scalable, secure, reliable AI systems, including LLM orchestration, agent frameworks, and model deployment pipelines - Drive cross-functional alignment on standards, architectural decision records, and governance models that reduce fragmentation and prevent technical debt from accumulating - Partner directly with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into executable architectures for critical AI programs and customer-facing deployments - Establish and enforce governance frameworks for security, compliance, and platform lifecycle management across distributed AI workloads - Engage with hyperscalers, AI vendors, and strategic partners to shape roadmaps, evaluate integrations, and represent Synopsys in technical discussions - Mentor senior architects and engineers, conducting architecture reviews and raising the bar for systems thinking and long-term design quality across the organization ## Impact - Enable repeatable, scalable AI platform adoption across Synopsys, reducing time to deployment for new AI-driven capabilities - Cut architectural risk and fragmentation by establishing clear standards, patterns, and decision frameworks that teams actually follow - Accelerate delivery timelines through reusable platform foundations that improve developer productivity and reduce reinvention - Improve reliability, security, and performance for mission-critical AI workloads supporting both internal tools and customer-facing products - Strengthen customer and partner confidence in Synopsys AI capabilities, directly enabling product growth and competitive differentiation - Influence strategic technology investments at the enterprise level, ensuring AI infrastructure decisions align with long-term business goals - Elevate engineering quality and architectural maturity across the organization through mentorship, thought leadership, and hands-on collaboration ## Requirements - Deep expertise in GenAI, LLMs, agentic AI patterns, and AI/ML platform design, with a track record of architecting systems that handle real production workloads - Strong background in infrastructure-native architecture, distributed systems, and cloud platforms, ideally with experience in high-availability or regulated environments - Proven ability to design and influence enterprise-scale architectures that span multiple teams, business units, or product lines - Solid understanding of security, compliance, and governance requirements for AI and infrastructure platforms, including model risk, data privacy, and auditability - Exceptional communication skills with both executives and engineering teams, you can explain a complex tradeoff to a VP in two sentences without losing the nuance - Thought leadership in the form of architecture reviews, technical publications, patents, or conference talks is a strong plus - Experience working with hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and engaging with AI vendors or strategic technology partners - Typically 15+ years in software engineering, architecture, or platform development, including 8+ years delivering large-scale infrastructure-native systems ## Who We're Looking For - A visionary technical leader with deep architectural judgment who can see around corners and anticipate what will break before it does - Collaboration comes naturally to you, you build trust with stakeholders across functions and turn conflicting priorities into aligned roadmaps - Mentorship matters to you, you actively coach senior engineers and architects, and you leave teams stronger and more capable than you found them - You are adaptable and resilient, comfortable working through ambiguity and shifting priorities without losing sight of the long-term architecture - You care about building inclusive teams and creating environments where different perspectives make the architecture better, not harder - You represent Synopsys with confidence in front of customers, partners, and vendors, and you can hold your own in technical discussions at any level ## Our Team You will join a team of senior architects and platform engineers advancing Synopsys AI infrastructure and ecosystem platforms.
