## Description

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Employment Counsel to join our global Legal team at Adyen. As Employment Counsel, you will own employment litigation and disputes across the US, manage external counsel relationships, and advise the business and HR colleagues on complex employment questions.

Responsibilities:

- Own US employment disputes and litigation

- Instruct and manage external counsel

- Advise on risk and balance legal exposure against practical business outcomes

- Partner with HR colleagues on escalated employee matters

- Build frameworks, playbooks, and legal review of policies

- Advise across the full generalist range, including wage and hour, discrimination, and pay transparency

- Take a global view and shape our global employment legal strategy

- Train and upskill HR colleagues and managers

Requirements:

- 7+ years of employment law experience

- Strong US employment litigation experience

- Employment generalist with a global mindset

- Ability to work autonomously and make sound judgments

- Admitted to practice in the United States

- Fluent in English

Compensation: $135,000 - $275,000
