## Description

As a Loss Prevention Officer at NEXT, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment across our Camberley and Basingstoke stores.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring our stores feel safe and secure for employees and customers alike

- Building strong relationships with store teams and local police

- Identifying high-risk areas and acting as a deterrent on the shop floor

- Collaborating with store management to uphold company loss prevention standards

- Performing additional duties such as out-of-hours surveillance, loss prevention audits, and providing support at other stores

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Previous security experience in a retail environment (preferred)

- Flexibility to work across different stores and shifts, including weekends and evenings

- Ability to travel to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable distance from your home

- Strong commitment to ensuring the safety of store teams and customers

- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Self-motivation and initiative

- Effective communication skills to build relationships with various stakeholders
