## Description

Axios is seeking a Local Advertising Account Executive to build and lead its local advertising business in Miami. As a Local Market Builder, you will be responsible for developing deep relationships with local business leaders and converting those relationships into long-term advertising partnerships.

In this role, you will:

- Build and own a book of business from day one, leveraging existing relationships with local decision-makers

- Prospect, pitch, and close new local advertisers

- Develop repeatable revenue streams through renewals and long-term partnerships

- Serve as the Axios brand ambassador in-market, attending events and building community presence

- Create and manage a high-volume pipeline of deals

Ideal candidates will have 5-8+ years of experience in sales, digital media, advertising, or a related field, and be deeply connected in their market with a proven ability to build and monetize a book of business.

This remote position offers a competitive base salary of $60,000 per year, plus an uncapped commission structure with on-target earnings up to $150,000+, and additional incentives for new logo acquisition and early market traction.
