## Description

We are seeking a passionate, self-driven Senior Legal Assistant to join our E&I practice in Seoul. This role is designed for a high-calibre candidate interested in developing a career as an England & Wales qualified solicitor. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of qualified lawyers, gaining substantive work experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct legal and market research

- Draft documents

- Assist with due diligence

- Support transactions and cases

- Handle client matters

- Gain exposure to different areas of legal practice

- Participate in professional development and training

- Perform other tasks as requested by qualified lawyers

**Key Requirements:**

- 1+ year of work experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in finance or transaction work

- Excellent academic background

- Proficiency in English and Korean

- Strong legal analysis and drafting abilities

- Commercial awareness

- Motivation to qualify as a solicitor in England & Wales

- Ability to handle UK trainee-level responsibilities

- Long-term interest in the relevant practice

- Experience in a top-tier firm is advantageous

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

- Proactive and enthusiastic approach

- Flexibility to take on different types of work and mandates

- Ability to work well under pressure as a team player

**Employment Status:**

- This position is a 1 or 2-year fixed-term contract with potential for extension.
