The Solution Engineering team’s Mission is to understand customer issues, clearly communicate the value of Snowflake, and support customers from proposal to post-sales.

As an Associate Solution Engineer, you will collaborate with experienced SEs and sales teams to grow through proposal activities, demo support, technical learning, and practical application.

The Impact You will Make:

- Support presentations, demos, and technical explanations for prospective and existing customers in collaboration with sales teams and Senior SEs.

- Understand customer business challenges and technical requirements, and propose solutions that connect with Snowflake's value.

- Assist in preparing and executing PoCs and technical verification to support customers' decision-making throughout the sales cycle.

- Continuously learn about the evolution of data, cloud, and AI, and deepen understanding of competing technologies and related vendors.

- Collaborate with internal teams such as product, engineering, and marketing to share insights and customer feedback.

- Progressively improve technical skills, presentation skills, and customer proposal skills according to the standard expectations for SE organizations in Japan.

Who You Are:

### Essential Requirements

- More than 3 years of experience in IT-related work

- Strong interest in SaaS, cloud, data platforms, analytics, and AI-related areas, with continuous learning attitude

- Ability to explain technical contents to customers or internal stakeholders in a clear manner

- Basic understanding of database, data warehouse, ETL, analytics, and cloud technology, or willingness to catch up quickly

- Basic knowledge of SQL and data utilization, or hands-on experience

- Thinking skills to understand customer issues and connect them to solution proposals

- Computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience

- Proficiency in Japanese, with no resistance to business in English

- Attitude to involve others in learning and achieve results as One Team

### Preferred Requirements

- Experience in presales, solution proposals, Sales Engineer, Solution Engineer, consulting, or similar roles

- Experience in demos, hands-on, PoCs, technical verification, or customer presentations

- Knowledge of peripheral technologies such as public cloud, BI, data integration, AI/ML

- Experience in technical and business roles in customer-facing environments

- Self-motivated to catch up with rapid changes in the environment
