## Description

As an Optometrist at Asda, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care to our customers.

A typical day will involve screening patients, coaching and training the wider team, and maintaining standards in the department.

Asda is committed to providing its Optometrists with comprehensive training and support to enhance their skills, including a fantastic CPD programme and protected time to complete further accreditations.

You will work in partnership with an Optical Manager and the wider department team to create an environment that combines clinical and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

- Screen patients and deliver high-quality care

- Coach and train the wider team

- Maintain standards in the department

- Develop new patient services

Requirements:

- Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC

- Registered performer with your NHS area team or health board

- MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months)

- On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
