## Description

As a Regional Sales Representative in 3M's Electrical Markets Division, you will drive profitable sales for the Commercial and Industrial business in your assigned territory.

You will develop, implement, and execute effective territory business plans, prioritizing end customers, markets, and distributors to drive effective territory management.

Your responsibilities will also include:

- Implementing promotions and directives as set by division management

- Collaborating across other Commercial and Industrial territories and within other 3M Electrical Markets Division teams to meet customer needs

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or higher and three years of direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience in a private, public, government, or military environment. An Associate's degree with five years of electrical industry sales experience is also acceptable.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include:

- Sales experience in the Electric Contractor Market

- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills

- Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications

- Experience selling through distribution

- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels

- Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within your assigned territory

- Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization

- Strong computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Salesforce.com

The expected compensation range for this position is $113,752 - $139,031, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
