## Description

Okta is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Azure Integrations team in Bengaluru, India. This is a hybrid role that focuses on integrating with Microsoft's Azure AD Identity Platform.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software development experience building highly reliable, mission-critical software. You will work with the team to design and implement high-performance distributed scalable and fault-tolerant software components.

Responsibilities:

- Understand the Azure Integrations codebase and development process

- Analyse, refine and shape requirements with product management and other stakeholders

- Provide support and handle incoming bugs and customer reported issues

- Work with various stakeholders to scope and plan engineering efforts

- Design and implement high-performance distributed scalable and fault-tolerant software components

- Participate in PR reviews with the team

- Mentor more junior team members

- Own features and/or systems and define their long-term health and observability and reliability metrics

Requirements:

- 5+ years of software development experience building highly reliable, mission-critical software

- Experience working with systems of scale ranging from monolithic applications to microservices

- Experience with server-side technologies including caching, asynchronous processing, and multi-threading

- Java, Spring, Hibernate, Redis experience

- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and people of various backgrounds

Nice to have:

- Experience working with Microsoft's Graph APIs

- Experience with modern front-end development such as ReactJS
