## Description

We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team in the Theatre department at The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.

The successful candidate will assist in delivering safe and effective care across the theatre department, supporting patients throughout their surgical pathway. Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing theatres for procedures, including equipment checks and stock preparation

- Engaging with patients in a respectful, dignified, and empathetic manner

- Maintaining a high standard of personal conduct and clinical care in accordance with CHG policies and the HCA framework

- Taking responsibility for developing your own clinical and technical skills through training, mentorship, and reflection

- Contributing to maintaining a safe and efficient theatre environment through stock control and adherence to clinical standards

To be considered for this role, you should have:

- Previous experience working in a clinical or healthcare support role

- Good verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centred approach

- Willingness to undertake training and competency development in theatre-specific care

- Understanding of infection control, safeguarding, and basic health and safety principles
