## Description

Spire Thames Valley Hospital in Slough is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant to join our high-performing Theatre Team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the region's most experienced Consultants, covering varied and diverse cases in General or Orthopaedic surgery.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner with at least 2 years of experience in a scrub capacity. They will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration/practitioner qualification.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing surgical first assistance for Consultant-led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism

- Delivering exemplary planned care for patients and assisting in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre

- Working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse workload
