## Description

We are seeking a Nurse Manager to lead our nursing departments at Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital. As a Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent patient care, achieving financial objectives, and fostering leadership development.

The position involves managing and supervising nursing departments, collaborating with nursing leaders and other facility managers and departments. You will be accountable for developing departmental structure, processes, and outcome standards, typically for one unit.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Managing budgets and ensuring financial goals are met

- Ensuring competent and sufficient staff to meet patient care needs

- Evaluating staff competency through performance reviews and peer reviews

- Coordinating performance and compliance with patient safety initiatives and regulatory bodies

- Facilitating collaborative decision-making and upholding professional independence

- Modelling and fostering an environment of professionalism and employee engagement

We require:

- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution

- Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers

- Leadership/supervisory experience

- 2 years of clinical experience

Preferred qualifications include:

- Specialty certification

- Demonstrated experience in the area of oversight
