## Description

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Erskine Hall Care Home in Northwood. As a Care Assistant, you will be at the heart of our organisation, providing person-centred care that supports independence and honours choice.

**Job Details**

- Location: Erskine Hall Care Home, Northwood HA6 3PA

- Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour depending on experience

- Contract: Permanent, day shifts including alternate weekends

**About Erskine Hall Care Home** Erskine Hall provides nursing, residential and dementia care. The home offers a warm welcome to long and short stays, including care for those living with Parkinson’s or Huntington’s care.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.

- Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.

- Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.

- Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.

- Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

**What We're Looking For**

- Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
