As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you will maintain and troubleshoot the pharmacy's automated systems in our Chicago, IL location. This role involves routine inspections of specialized machines, identifying and resolving technical issues to meet production goals and quality expectations. Your efforts will impact the lives of thousands of patients who rely on the critical medications dispensed by this facility.

**Starting Pay:** $36/hour - $42/hour with opportunities to advance in as soon as 6 months. This is a full-time position with guaranteed 40 hours per week and premium pay for consistent weekends or company holidays worked.

**Responsibilities:**

- Troubleshoot and maintain automation robotics, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems in a large volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility.

- Conduct routine inspections of machines and systems to ensure optimal performance.

- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and notify the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs or additional equipment needs.

- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and procedures.

**Schedule:** Tuesday - Friday 6am-2:30pm, and Saturday 7:30am-4pm.

**Required Qualifications:**

- Comfortable with physical labor, including crawling under conveyor, lifting 60lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

- 3+ years of risk assessment skills, project management skills, and experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing automated equipment.

- Experience with mechanical and pneumatic repairs, electrical schematics, and voltmeter usage.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse, or healthcare environments.

- Experience working with automation robots, in a regulated environment, or with craft certifications.

**Education:** Verifiable High School diploma or GED required.
