## Description

We're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Oakville Assembly Complex. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and coaching unionized skilled trades, enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards, and leading maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment readiness and performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising, mentoring, and coaching unionized skilled trades

- Enforcing and ensuring strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards

- Leading, planning, and overseeing all maintenance activities

- Monitoring and assessing employee performance, managing concerns, and exercising disciplinary action if necessary

- Developing and implementing training strategies for team members and celebrating accomplishments

- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and facilitating timely repairs of equipment breakdowns

- Coordinating resources, materials, and schedules with production departments to minimize impact on production

Required qualifications include:

- College diploma or skilled-trade certificate of qualification

- 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

- Ability to work all shifts, days, afternoons, midnights

Preferred qualifications include:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent

- Experience of supervising skilled trades personnel in a unionized manufacturing environment

- Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified

- Knowledge of constraint management principles

- Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment

- Experience with industrial robots (Fanuc)

- Outstanding, interpersonal teambuilding and communication skills

The expected annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $135,000.00.
