Join ICON as a full-time Laboratory Assistant in Singapore. ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation that brings new medicines and treatments to patients faster.

**Job Details:**

- Work location: Loyang office-based (30 Loyang Way, Unit 02/12-15, Singapore 508769)

- Working hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. / 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday, subject to changes based on operational needs

- Public holiday rotational shift depends on team roster

- Public holiday rotational shift will be compensated as per Ministry of Manpower rules and regulations for any Public Holiday duties

**Responsibilities:**

- Monitor samples and troubleshoot discrepancies

- Consolidate created samples/containers (i.e., slides, blocks, reports, etc.)

- Search and retrieve documents and samples

- Perform data entry and monitor emails and various correspondences

- Check that slides/blocks are properly barcoded and labeled

- Assist pathologists with technical/clerical work

- Monitor reagent/QC/calibrator stocks

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree (preferred) or diploma with 1 year of related experience in a Clinical Laboratory

- Basic working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office

- Excellent written/verbal communication skills

- Ability to handle large workload demands and troubleshoot issues timely when required

- Exhibit appropriate time management skills and attention to detail

- Ability to keep accurate, legible records and recognize the need to handle these records and all other information in line with GCP/GLP/GDP
