## Description

This job involves leading workstreams as part of a project team that seeks to inform medium- and long-term business decisions in accordance with PayPal's corporate strategy.

The Sr Associate conducts complex research, data analysis, interviews, and brainstorming to generate insights that inform strategic decision-making.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

- Dig into strategic questions PayPal's senior leadership cares about most, such as market sizing, competitive positioning, partnership opportunities, and growth strategy, and develop analysis and recommendations that drive decisions.

- Build original strategic content, including business cases, competitive assessments, investment frameworks, and executive narratives.

- Incubate new product and business concepts from the ground up, pressure-testing ideas, developing go-to-market hypotheses, and building early-stage business cases.

- Collaborate across Product, Finance, Sales, and Partnerships to take strategic initiatives from early framing to execution.

- Thrive in ambiguity, structuring problems that don't have an obvious shape yet, and finding the right path forward.

- Help raise the bar for how the team works by bringing strong analytical instincts and a habit of sharing frameworks and approaches.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree.

**Additional Information:**

- The base pay for this role will depend on location and experience, with an expected range of $109,000.00 - $156,200.00 annually.

- Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation.

- PayPal offers a balanced hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home or office.
