## Description

We are looking for a high-impact procurement professional who can thrive in a rapidly evolving environment. As a Defense Procurement Manager, you will develop a long-term strategy and secure cross-functional buy-in. You will create and execute RFx strategies, lead strategic sourcing for the 'Physical AI' stack, and partner with Engineering to ensure that selected hardware components meet the SWaP-C requirements of ruggedized defense.

You will develop processes in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and corporate policies. You will ensure readiness and compliance for DCMA Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR). You will build strong relationships while negotiating with industry-leading suppliers. You will reduce cost and increase value. You will manage internally and externally by influence. You will lead process improvement projects to maximize efficiency of impact.

We are looking for someone who has 10+ years in strategic sourcing, commodity management, global supply management, or similar field. You should have 2+ years leading Physical AI or Robotics Commodity Procurement. You should have expertise with FAR, DFARS, DCMA audits, and CPSR. You should have a strong sense of urgency and a strategic mindset. You should have insatiable curiosity and a keen attention to detail. You should have highly efficient executive-level communication skills. You should have exceptional negotiation skills. You should be able to cut through ambiguity to make concrete and sound decisions. You should have a thorough understanding of complex contract structures. You should be able to rapidly prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment. You should have experience in DoD, aerospace, and/or defense contracting environments.

Nice to have: MBA, experience with the Google suite of tools, experience using Slack on a professional level, experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment.
