## About the Team

Product Management in Meesho closely resembles their rapid growth. They focus on understanding customer behaviour, which has enabled them to create an e-commerce niche in Tier 2/3/4 towns in Bharat. ## About the Role

The Director will lead a team of Product Managers, Senior Product Managers, and Product Analysts, and act as a cross-functional leader influencing senior stakeholders across teams such as Engineering, Design, Category Management, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to bring new products to life.

## Responsibilities

- Own complex and impactful product charters for Meesho

- Define a compelling product vision and strategy for the organisation, and influence other functional leaders and teams

- Identify problems to be solved, break them down into smaller chunks, and facilitate a process to come up with technology-led ideas to solve them

- Experiment with multiple ideas, test them using MVPs and prototypes, and ensure high product quality through processes such as user acceptance testing and dogfooding

- Create a go-to-market plan working with business and marketing stakeholders to maximise product success

- Define product metrics, track them continuously, and identify usage patterns to move metrics in the right direction

- Create a product roadmap with at least a 3-month forward-looking view of solutions to key customer and business problems

- Lead, mentor, and coach a direct team of Product Managers and Product Analysts

## Requirements

- 14+ years of work experience

- At least 10+ years of experience in product management in a tech-led company, preferably with consumer internet experience

- Experience in building and leading high-performing teams

- Exceptional problem-solving skills based on 'first principles' thinking

- Good understanding of technology

- Familiarity with product management processes such as A/B experimentation

- Experience of having managed a direct reporting team of product managers
