## Description

We are seeking a placement student to support our Production Systems Development (PSD) Team in developing bespoke test systems for our overseas factories.

The successful candidate will work in a multi-functional design and engineering team, collaborating on new product development and continuous improvement of production processes, systems, and tools.

Responsibilities:

- Develop factory tests for new products entering production using in-house production system tools and architecture

- Get involved with new product introduction from design to mass production

- Support the execution of our strategy for PCBA and Final Assembly for new products

- Implement automated functional test procedures and systems

- Contribute to research and development of new areas for functional testing and quality inspection

- Provide remote technical support to factory engineers overseas

Requirements:

- Competent coding skills in Python (ideally Asyncio, Django, Pandas, Crossbar.io)

- Good understanding of audio electronics and measurement tools and methods

- Commitment to continual improvement

- Excellent design, debugging, and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to communicate clearly with a cross-functional team

Advantages:

- Enrolled in or completed a BEng/BSc degree in a related engineering subject

- Background in audio electronics and music technology

- Experience with web technology: C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React

- Hands-on prototyping using Arduino, Teensy, Raspberry Pi or other platforms

- Familiarity with best practices and dev-ops tools: git, Ansible, Linux

- Experience with manufacturing automation, Industry 4.0, etc.
