## Description

Adyen is seeking an Indirect Tax Accountant to join its Group Finance team in Amsterdam. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring accurate general ledger accounting of direct and indirect taxes, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth.

**Responsibilities:**

- Ensure adherence to accounting and taxation standards and policies;

- Collaborate with Financial Controlling, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tax teams to maintain and own general direct and indirect tax ledgers;

- Assist in preparing and reviewing Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and VAT filings;

- Provide hands-on support for tax provisioning and effective tax rate (ETR) calculations;

- Support internal and external audits and liaise with tax specialists;

- Assist in process improvement and systems enhancement to drive scaling initiatives;

- Ensure correct tax coding for invoice processing.

**Requirements:**

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in tax and/or general ledger accounting;

- Experience in regional tax accounting;

- Familiarity with Workday financial systems is a plus;

- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and teams;

- Detail-oriented with analytical and automation mindset;

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks;

- Proactive and able to work independently but also ask for help when needed;

- Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
